Vacancies at the Georgia Industrial Children's Home

Immediate Care

If space is available in one of the five cottages, emergency placement can be arranged.  However, all of the necessary paperwork must be submitted at the time of admission.  This program serves youth ages 12 & up, but we will consider younger children on a case by case basis.

The purpose of this program is to prepare the residents for a permanent placement by providing emotional support and guidance with behavior management.

Long Term Care

We have four long-term care residential cottages on our campus that serve children ages 12 and up. We can house both boys and girls who are categorized at an RBWO of BWO and AWO.  Regretfully, we are unable to service MWO youth at this time.

Each cottage usually houses 8-16 residents. Children normally stay in this program for about 1-3 years, depending on their stability needs. We also have independent living cottages available for those boys and girls ages 16 and up who need to enhance their independent living skills.

For more information about our Independent Living program please contact, Camille Vickers at 478-474-8220 ext. 140.
