The Georgia Industrial Children's Home is a private, not for profit children's home. We have no affiliation with the State of Georgia although they do pay a daily rate for the children they place with us. The rate paid by the state for children in our care does not cover the cost of treating a child with the special needs of our children. Therefore, we have are always in need of cash as well as in-kind donations.

Cash donations are a necessity for our survival. We are not affiliated with any type of religious institution and therefore do not have that group to support us. It is through the generosity of people like you that we are able to continue into our second century of service to children in need.

In-kind donations are always needed in our facility also. Christmas gifts for the young people we serve, new computers, labor, construction materials, school materials and other daily living necessities are ways in which you or your company can donate to the care of our children. Donations that we are not able to use, we bring to other agencies for their use or we sell them in regular yard sales that allow your gift to bring needed revenue into our agency.

Of course, all gifts to The Georgia Industrial Children's Home are tax deductible.
